Breath of the wild heart and stamina max10/26/2023 (I know I could use the demon statue to swap them around, but I don't trust that thing and won't use it after completing the quest.) I'm currently focusing on stamina upgrades until I get a full second wheel, then I'll decide what to do with the remaining shrines after that, probably a mix of both. I got a heart first (because I think it makes the biggest difference early on), then 1 stamina upgrade because I often find one wheel is just short of what I need, then all hearts until I had 15 (the two extra are just to complete a row). My second time I'm doing the same, but more deliberately. My first time through I'd planned to alternate, but only got 2 hearts and 1 stamina upgrade when I found out I needed 13 hearts to get the Master Sword so then I prioritised getting hearts until I had enough. It's also much easier to activate Sheikah Towers with more Stamina Wheels than it is with more Hearts.I'm doing health first, then stamina, aiming to end up with a mix of both. Players will spend the majority of their gameplay climbing and paragliding. Stamina-recovering recipes are usually confined to Elixirs or require very specific food ingredients.īecause Breath of the Wild is open-world, the Stamina Vessels are the better option.There are more recipes that give Link Temporary Hearts than there are recipes that give Temporary Stamina. Less HP means Link may need to rely more on HP-recovery meals/elixirs.Stamina will regenerate as Link walks or stands still.Link can climb/paraglide/swim longer with more Stamina.Certain Shrine Quests will be more challenging with less Stamina.
